Description: On September 14, 2012, at around 11pm Plaintiff, Tyrone Gause, was sitting on Waverly Street talking to his cousin when he was approached by Sgt. Lorraine Sanchez and asked to produce identification. Mr. Gause is a disabled man. Mr. Gause asked why he needed to provide his ID. Sgt. Sanchez and Ofc. Johnny Wong began attacking Mr. Gause, violating his right to due process, engaging in assault and battery, intentional and or negligent inflicting severe physical and emotional injuries. They began using excessive and unprovoked force, punching and kicking him. Then, they took his cane and dragged him to the police car.
