Complaint
Description: On or about November 25, 2022, the plaintiff was crossing the street when a vehicle containing police officers approached failed to yield to him as a crossing pedestrian. Following the plaintiff communicating to the police officers in response, the police officers tackled plaintiff and viciously attacked him. Plaintiff was then arrested, jailed, and forced to defend himself in legal prosecution, which was decided in Plaintiff's favor. Description: On July 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm, several NYPD officers—including Officer Daniel Trancucci, Officer John Doe, and Officer John Roe, among others—approached the plaintiff in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bronx. The plaintiff was not behaving illegally, improperly, or suspiciously. Without probable cause or an arrest warrant, the NYPD officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained the plaintiff on the basis of his age or race. Once the plaintiff was in the NYPD's custody, he was subjected to finger printing, photographs, and a strip search.
