Description: On July 17, 2023, plaintiff was at home. Her neighbors were renovating their home, and were conducting loud construction work from 8 AM until 7 PM. Plaintiff went outside and asked them to stop, when the neighbors threatened her and said they would call police on her. Plaintiff then returned to her home. Defendant NYPD officers John Falzarano, Christopher Ng, and Ryan Stam all arrived at the scene shortly thereafter. When plaintiff stepped out to meet them, defendants arrested her on charges of trespass, harassment, and disorderly conduct, based solely on the unsubstantiated claims of her neighbors. Despite having received permission from her father, the Plaintiff was met with resistance from her cousin, Marie Vicidomini, leading to a physical altercation in which Vicidomini assaulted her. NYPD Officers Falzarano, Guglielmo, and Robles failed to verify with Vadala that he had allowed his daughter to visit.
