Description: On January 20, 2019, plaintiff Agustin Lopez was in his home at 541 Union Avenue, Apt 2D, in Bronx County, NY. There was a knock at his door, and when he instructed his daughter to answer the door several defendant NYPD officers burst into his home. The officers demanded that the plaintiff come outside but his wife told them that he did not speak English. Thereafter the defendants grabbed the plaintiff and pushed him out of the apartment into the hallway. He was then thrown to the floor and handcuffed in an aggressive manner. One of the defendants then tasered the plaintiff. After being released from the hospital, the plaintiff was transferred to the 40th Precinct. The plaintiff retained several physical injuri...
