Briguglio restrained Simmons while another officer questioned Regis about what had been exchanged between them. Despite informing the officers they were waiting for an Uber and not committing any crime, Regis was forcibly grabbed by the arms, pushed against a wall, pushed to his knees, and then forced to the ground on his stomach where he was handcuffed. Description: On June 4, 2020, plaintiff encountered a protest while biking home. Stopping to observe it, he was pushed by an unknown Defendant officer (John Doe 1), who told him to leave the scene.
