Description: On April 2, 2019, Plaintiff was returning to his apartment when an assailant pushed him into his apartment and attacked him. The 41st Precinct had received complaints of the assailant assaulting, robbing, burglarizing others in the building and surrounding area. Defendants Police Officers William Mari, Yareimi Ocasio, Henry Musac, Shakeen Robinson arrived at the scene and arrested Plaintiff in his home, without probable cause or a search warrant. Plaintiff could not afford bail and was in custody until his release. On December 21, 2022, the charges were dismissed.
