Description: On March 29, 2023, when plaintiff was sitting in the rear passenger side of a car, police officers pulled over that car, pulled plaintiff from the car, and start handcuffing plaintiff without explanation. Police officers slammed plaintiff to the ground with his face down with officers on top of him restricting his breathing. After plaintiff was handcuffed, one police officer said “put him in the car headfirst” Plaintiff verbally protested, but officers picked plaintiff up and carrying him parallel to the ground, and forcefully placed plaintiff headfirst into the back seat of a police car on his stomach. Description: On February 11, 2022 around 7:45 PM Plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 160 11th Street, New York when POs Elliot Johnsongales and John or Jane Doe 1-10 approached and unlawfully searched Plaintiff without legal justification. They discovered no contraband on Plaintiff. Regardless, POs applied excessively-tight handcuffs to Plaintiff, causing injury, and transported him to the precinct. There POs falsely informed the District Attorney's office they observed Plaintiff commit various offenses in order to continue criminal prosecution of Plaintiff.
