Description: On January 27, 2012, Plaintiffs were together in Plaintiff Raheem Spencer's home when NYPD Officers including Officers Kamina, Daly, and Gonzales beginning banging and shouting to open the door. The officers admitted to not having a warrant to enter the apartment but continued to loudly demand entry for the next 45 minutes, which Plaintiffs refused to grant. The force of the officers' knocking eventually broke the door and jammed it. Upon leaving the apartment, an occupant was forced to pry the door open with a crowbar. When the door opened, the officers rushed into the apartment without permission, handcuffed the occupants, and searched the apartment without permission or warrant. After 40 minutes, the officer...
