Description: On March 17, 2014, plaintiffs were in an escalator leading to the subway station when plaintiff 1 accidentally bumped into a woman who was also on the escalator. She punched him in the face, causing him to bleed. Officers Lisa Musso, Edward Moran, and Michael Guida arrived at the scene and asked plaintiff 1 if he wished to press charges. He said no. During this time, plaintiff 2 was attempted to aid her bleeding son (plaintiff 1). Officers then arrested both plaintiffs. Plaintiff 1 was handcuffed and held for 24 hours at a precinct. Plaintiff 2, his mother, was thrown to the ground, handcuffed tightly, and held for 40 minutes before she was issued a summons and released from custody. Plaintiff 2 was charged wi...
