Description: On August 6, 2014 Bryan Christian was being chased by a group of men in Brooklyn after an alleged robbery that had taken place moments earlier. One of the men indicated to the others that Christian was an accomplice to the suspect who had fled the scene. Christian was caught and then punched, kicked, choked, and wrestled to the ground. Six men pinned him to the ground and told him to “hold for the police.” P.O.s soon arrived on the scene and handcuffed Christian tightly, then pulled him up by the arm and then forced his arm behind his back after twisting it upward. Description: Defendant officers recognized Plaintiff as he was walking down the street as having a warrant out for his arrest. Defendant Officers handcuffed Plaintiff excessively tight, took him to the 79th precinct, where the warrant turned out to be an I-Card by Detective Moody. After Plaintiff's alibi for the incident which he was suspected of checked out, the detective let him leave.
