Description: On November 29, 2022, plaintiff was lawfully driving his vehicle in Queens, New York, when defendant NYPD officers Christopher Abreu and Nicholas Condos pulled him over, stating that his windows were excessively tinted. Plaintiff allowed the defendants to search the car although they had no reason to. Defendants found a black backpack in the trunk and without good cause or warrant opened the backpack and discovered a gun inside. Defendants subsequently handcuffed and arrested plaintiff, and seized his car. Defendants then provided false information to the Queens District Attorney, claiming plaintiff had been speeding and acting nervous, and that they had observed shell casings in the car.
