Description: On October 10, 2016, at around 5PM, Plaintiff was illegally searched and seized by Defendant NYPD officers with no probable cause. Plaintiff was falsely arrested and the Defendant officers committed assaults and batteries against Plaintiff, including but not limited to punching him in the face while he was handcuffed in a police vehicle, dragged out by his feet, dropped to the ground, kicked, punched and then violently picked up by his handcuffs. The Defendant officers used Plaintiff’s head to open the door a the precinct and he was dragged around the precinct floor while rear handcuffed. Description: At the incident time and location, the plaintiffs were talking to the police about shots fired at an annual cookout they were attending. Plaintiffs were handcuffed and were told that they needed to speak with detectives at the precinct. Once at the precinct, plaintiffs were told that they were charged with criminal trespassing. At their arraignments, plaintiffs were charged with criminal trespass in the 3rd and 4th degree along with disorderly conduct. Charges for both plaintiffs were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
