Description: Plaintiff was assisting moving the box to the truck after an event when he encountered two defendant officers in a vehicle. Defendant officers requested plaintiff to move the car but plaintiff said it was not his car and he would help to find the driver. Unable to locate the driver, plaintiff returned to inform the defendant officers that he was unable to find the driver. Defendant officers then requested plaintiff's identification and then violently put him into arrest. Plaintiff was taken to multiple NYPD precincts, including the 10th precinct. The case was later dismissed.

Description: On March 17, 2012, Plaintiff was lawfully present in Zuccotti Park. Defendant police officers accosted Plaintiff, a woman, deliberately grabbed her breast, threw her to the ground, deliberately bent and twisted her wrists, and handcuffed her with flex-cuffs more tightly and violently than authorized by NYPD procedure. Defendant officers placed Plaintiff under arrest despite a lack of probable cause. Plaintiff was held and detained in custody for approximately thirty-one hours. When Plaintiff was finally brought to court and arraigned, her case was adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
