Description: On November 14, 2022 Plaintiff was in the vicinity of 265 East 161st Street in the Bronx when Defendant Officers, including Officers Hoey and Green, approached Plaintiff for no reason and stopped, searched, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner. Plaintiff was falsely arrested, remained incarcerated for over 24 hours, and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were dismissed.

Description: On April 13, 2016, Plaintiff was lawfully present inside of his friend's apartment when PO Robert Hoey, Jeremiah Williams, Eric Florio, Stanley Baez and John Does unlawfully entered the apartment. PO searched the apartment and the individuals inside, without probable cause or any legal justification. Despite not finding any illegal drugs, weapons or contraband, PO handcuffed and wrongfully detained Plaintiff for approximately 3 days. PO provided the DA with false and misleading information regarding their basis for arresting and prosecuting Plaintiff. On August 25, 2017, all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.

Description: On or about April 13, 2026, at approximately 6:00pm, Defendants assaulted, accosted, battered, arrested, confined, unduly restrained, falsely arrested, falsely imprisoned, and wrongfully prosecuted Plaintiff without any rights or grounds thereof. Defendant Hoey injured and maimed Plaintiff such that he was unable to move freely or otherwise leave the scene without apprising him as to why he was being placed under arrest. Members of the NYPD maliciously prosecuted the plaintiff and falsely charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and a controlled substance. Plaintiff was held at 47th Precinct for three days and released. On August 25, 2017, all charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.
