Complaint
Description: On January 5, 2017, plaintiff was a passenger inside a van driving in Queens. At around 1:30 p.m., defendant officers stopped the van and demanded to see the driver’s license. The defendant officers took the driver’s license and registration and walked away. When defendant officers returned, they ordered plaintiff and the driver out of the car. Plaintiff was searched and no contraband was found, but plaintiff was handcuffed without probable cause and taken to the 105th precinct. Plaintiff was told he was arrested for possession of stolen property. On January 6, 2017, plaintiff was released from custody due to the Queens County District Attorney declining to prosecute the case.

Complaint
Description: Plaintiff was in his home when police officers illegally entered his residence without showing any form of search warrant. When the plaintiff protested the entry, they punched him, tore out the plaintiff's hair, kicked, choked, and shoved him. They arrested and handcuffed the plaintiff. Even after the charges against him were dismissed, he had observed police officers parked outside of his home on multiple occasions.
