Description: On November 17, 2017, Plaintiff Geoffrey Ukekweh, a licensed real estate broker, arrived at his business premises and discovered that the lock to his office had been broken and replaced with different locks by persons then unknown to him. Ukekweh reported the incident to the 47th precinct, and thereafter, one Officer Medina from the 47th precinct came to the Property to investigate with his partner. Upon investigation, Officer Medina and his partner told Ukekweh that he had a right to break the locks and go back into his office to conduct his business. Ukekweh then left to return another day with appropriate tools to break the locks and lawfully re-enter the business premises.

Description: On May 6, 2018, at approximately 10:45 am, Plaintiff was on a public roadway on 241st Street and White Plain Road in Bronx, New York. Before stopping to talk to a friend, Plaintiff purchased an iPhone from an unidentified male. While talking to the friend, Plaintiff was approached by NYPD officers including Andrew Decker and other unnamed officers, who asked where he got the cell phone. Plaintiff stated that he had just purchased it, and two women who were present informed the officers that he did not steal their phone.
