Description: On June 29, 2021, at approximately 12:00 p.m., in the vicinity of the intersection of Halsey Street and Nostrand Avenue in Kings County, Plaintiff Nathaniel Smith was illegally targeted by Defendant NYPD Police Officers, including Jared Lambert, because of his race, religion, national origin, ethnicity or other improper characteristics for adverse police action. Description: On March 5, 2021, plaintiff was exiting a liquor store on Tompkins Ave, Brooklyn, NY with her friend Sharice when Lambert and another unidentified officer approached. Lambert placed her into handcuffs for an incident that allegedly occurred on February 13, 2021. Plaintiff complained to Lambert multiple times the handcuffs were too tight and were causing extreme pain. Lambert refused to loosen the handcuffs.
