Description: On February 9, 2020, plaintiffs Thomas Perkins and Jenny Hannigan were lawfully present in an MTA subway station in Brooklyn when they were approached by Defendant P.O.s Jotwo Edwards and John Does #1-10, who told them to leave. Plaintiffs were confused by this request, and remained on the platform, asking for more information. The officers grabbed Perkins and began to forcibly drag him off the platform. As Hanigan followed the officers who were dragging Perkins, one of the officers pushed her down the stairs, causing her to sustain injuries and lose consciousness.
