Complaint
Description: On August 5, 2013 Plaintiff was in her apartment when POs, some wearing SWAT uniforms, broke in and falsely and violently arrested Plaintiff without legal justification, pointing a gun at her in the process. POs also stole items from Plaintiff's apartment, including money, cell phones, and a laptop computer. Plaintiff was falsely imprisoned and taken to the 30th Precinct, Central Booking, then a hospital for treatment of injuries inflicted by POs. The District Attorney ultimately declined to prosecute Plaintiff. Plaintiff was injured and compelled to seek medical treatment as a result of this incident.
