Description: On December 20, 2013, plaintiffs were swarmed by defendants Helly, Fenton, Wilson, Daverin and Obriend while driving down a public street. Defendant Kelly, without any justification or probable cause searched the plaintiffs and the vehicle and accused the plaintiffs of robbery. The plaintiffs were brought to the precinct and unlawfully detained. The police failed to read their Miranda rights to the plaintiffs and interrogated the plaintiffs for four hours, after which plaintiffs confessed to committing the robbery in coerced circumstances.
