Complaint
Description: On or about March 5, 2016 Plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 350 East 143rd Street when he was approached by POs Jason Tam, John Doe, and John Roe based on a racially-motivated "stop and frisk" policy and who falsely accused him of having committing a crime. Plaintiff was arrested with excessive force and criminally processed, including a strip search. POs forwarded knowingly false information to initiate a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff. The criminal action against Plaintiff was ultimately terminated favorably. Plaintiff suffered permanent injury in and about his head, neck, back, body, and limbs as a result of this incident in addition to humiliation and loss of enjoyment of life.
