Description: On May 10, 2013, numerous NYPD officers, including the Individual Defendants, broke down the front door and entered Plaintiffs’ apartment in Queens, NY. Several officers were likely members of the Emergency Services Unit and dressed in their tactical uniforms. Several officers also had their weapons drawn. Various officers entered two bedrooms where Plaintiffs were sleeping. Plaintiffs were violently brought out of their rooms and handcuffed. Plaintiffs remained handcuffed in the apartment for about an hour, while officers searched the apartment.
