Description: On August 24, 2021, at about 7:30 am, Mr. Bussey was walking through Red Hook Park in Brooklyn towards a local bodega to get his breakfast. Officers Antoine and Clinton approached Mr. Bussey and asked if he had caused damage to a nearby bus – Mr. Bussey said no and went on his way. Without any basis, Officers Antoine and Clinton told Mr. Bussey that they wanted him to go to a hospital for evaluation as an Emotionally Disturbed Person but Mr. Bussey refused. Officers Antoine and Clinton then called for police backup and an ambulance – Sergeant Pollari and Officers Tse, Lau, Xia and an ambulance came to the scene.
