Description: On September 17, 2020, plaintiff Liam Fletcher participated in a protest in Lower Manhattan against federal Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after reports that ICE performed non-consensual hysterectomies. Approximately 50 protesters including plaintiff congregated outside the federal building housing the local ICE field office in Foley Square, and were met by more than 100 NYPD officers, who funneled the protesters onto the street as the protesters began marching west towards Broadway.
