Description: On May 16, 2012, Plaintiff was driving at or near an intersection when Defendant Police Officer DAVID HUNG stopped him. Defendant HUNG arrested Plaintiff and placed him in handcuffs. Additional officers, including but not limited to Defendants PEREZ and HERRERA, arrived on the scene. Plaintiff was transported to the 19th Precinct and was placed in a holding cell for approximately 5 hours. Plaintiff was transported to Central Booking, where he was detained for approximately 16 hours. Plaintiff requested medical attention while in custody, but officers dissuaded him from receiving treatment. Defendants had the opportunity to intervene and failed to do so, to prevent violations of Plaintiff’s civil rights.
