Description: On April 4, 2023, Plaintiff was a lawful passenger sitting in his friend's vehicle when he was unlawfully stopped, battered, searched, and arrested by Defendant NYPD POs including PO Conor McGouran. During the arrest, Plaintiff was manhandled and violently searched, and had his hands and wrists violently contorted behind his back before being handcuffed in an excessively tight fashion. PO McGouran also signed and forward an intentionally fabricated criminal court complaint to the DA's office against Plaintiff, which caused Plaintiff to be transferred to Riker's Island for approximately 26 hours. Plaintiff was released on April 5, 2023.
