Description: On or about June 11, 2023, Plaintiffs requested the assistance of the NYPD at a residence. When the NYPD arrived, they falsely arrested, detained, and transported all Plaintiffs to a precinct and thereafter to Central Booking. The officers caused charges to be brought against Plaintiffs through the intentional use of false evidence or testimony. The DA's office subsequently declined to prosecute charges against Plaintiffs.

Description: On or about August 4, 2019, the Plaintiff, Cheryl Gravesande, was falsely arrested in her backyard in Brooklyn by two defendants police officers, Jesse Hard aka Jesse Hart and, Jessica Thomas. Defendants police officers falsely accused and falsely arrested the Plaintiff for selling liquor in her backyard. Defendants police officers were negligent in the prosecution and investigation proceedings, as they failed to investigate information that would have demonstrated Plaintiff's innocence. Defendants acted forcibly in apprehending, arresting and imprisoning Plaintiff.
The mailicious prosecution ended in Plaintiff's favor, as all charges were dismissed on August 4, 2019.
