Description: On September 28, 2022, Plaintiff was in the vicinity of Opus Lounge when Officers Robert Velsor, Xavier Reynoso, Derek Rivera, and others harassed, stopped, seized, handcuffed, pushed, slammed, punched, kicked, placed their body upon Plaintiff’s back and ankles, and tased Plaintiff without probable cause or reasonable suspicion of any criminal offense. Plaintiff complained about tight handcuffs, which severely injured Plaintiff’s wrists. Other Defendant officers failed to intervene. Description: On August 18, 2017, police officers arrested plaintiff. One officer used a chokehold while plaintiff was being attacked and thrown to the ground. Once plaintiff was handcuffed, the officers picked him up and conducted a pat frisk. One officer touched plaintiff's private parts in a public area. Plaintiff sustained laceration to his rib cage and face and has suffered mental issues since the incident.

Description: On June 9, 2014, Plaintiff was shopping for sneakers and was arrested by Police Officers Garfield Mead, Xavier Reynoso, and four John Doe police officers for robbery and possession of crack. Plaintiff did not rob anyone nor was in possession of anyone else's belongings or any drugs. Bail was set at arraignment and bailed out after being incarcerated for approximately four days. Following four court appearances, the case against Plaintiff was dismissed on motion of the prosecutor. Plaintiff's probation was violated because of this arrest and he spent approximately seven weeks in jail. Plaintiff was deprived of his liberty and sustained great emotional injuries.
