Description: On August 29, 2022, around 4:00 A.M., plaintiff Samuel Domenech was obeying all laws when he was unlawfully stopped, detained, assaulted, and arrested. Plaintiff was aggressively placed in tight handcuffs and put in a police vehicle. Plaintiff was transported to a precinct, interrogated illegally, and taken to central booking. Plaintiff was released on September 23, 2022, for about four weeks. Plaintiff was caused to suffer severe and permanent physical and psychological injuries. Plaintiff was arrested solely because he is Black and was subjected to unlawful treatment as a result.

Description: On January 27, 2021 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Plaintiff, NATASHA SUMERSET, was asleep inside of her apartment when she received a call from her son, who informed her that he was being chased by defendant NYPD Officers, and was approaching their apartment building at 306 8th Street in Queens, New York. Plaintiff immediately got out of bed and left her apartment, heading out to the front of the building. Upon exiting her building, Plaintiff saw that her son was approximately two feet from the entrance of her building and surrounded by approximately nine defendant NYPD Officers who were punching, kicking, choking, and tasing him.
