Description: On December 21, 2022, NYPD officer Anoop Thomas and another officer went to plaintiff's home to arrest him without an arrest warrant. During the course of the arrest, they used excessive force, including throwing punches and throwing plaintiff to the ground, which resulted in injuries that required hospitalization. All charges against plaintiff were ultimately dismissed.
