Description: On May 18, 2019, Julian Estrella (Plaintiff) was a lawfully operating a vehicle on a public roadway in when he was directed by police officers to leave the area, to which he complied. He was then illegally and unconstitutionally stopped as he was attempting to comply with said order. Defendants assaulted, confined, unduly restrained, falsely arrested, and falsely imprisoned plaintiff. Plaintiff was held at two NYPD Precincts for approximately two (2) days and Central Booking for approximately two (2) days. He was also at VCBS for two (2) days until his release. Plaintiff was forced to go to court approximately fifteen (15) times until August 6, 2021 when all charges against him were dismissed.
