Description: On November 7, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of Gilbert Place and Hunts Point Avenue, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, approached plaintiff and summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, and battered him with excessive force. Plaintiff was then handcuffed and arrested. While in custody, plaintiff was strip-searched without any reason, and subsequently during arraignment he was falsely prosecuted with committing a crime. All charges against plaintiff were eventually terminated in his favor. As a result of the incident, plaintiff sustained severe physical and emotional injury.
