Description: On July 31, 2012, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Plaintiffs Fung-A-Ling and Thomas were asleep in their home located at 720 Kingsborough 7th Walk #2C in Brooklyn, New York. NYPD officers suddenly kicked in the door of the premises while allegedly executing a search warrant. The officers, including Defendants P.O. Jon Gladstone and Lt. Tommy Korakis, began to beat the Plaintiffs about their face and bodies while they were asleep. Both Plaintiffs suffered multiple injuries and were then arrested, and released from custody on their own recognizance the following day. Plaintiffs received ACDs terminating all charges against them.
