Complaint
Description: On August 22, 2021, Plaintiff was walking when Defendants NYPD officers, including KARLINA CORTES, ALLEN MOORE and other unknown police officers, approached him and unlawfully arrested him without providing any information. He was handcuffed and his bag was searched. Although there was no evidence of any crime, Plaintiff was charged with Attempted Murder in the second degree, Attempted Assault in the first degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree. Defendants maliciously forwarded false evidence and false information to prosecutor. After arraignment, Plaintiff was in custody for 6 days. On August 27, 2021, a New York County Grand Jury dismissed all charges against Plaintiff.
