Complaint
Description: On September 13, 2023, plaintiff was lawfully on the eastbound Interstate 278/Gowanus Expressway, near the entrance to the lower level of the Verrazano Bridge, Staten Island, NY. Plaintiff was inside a motor vehicle when she was approached, pulled out of the vehicle, thrown to the ground, struck in her back with a knee, grabbed and touched about her body including breasts and placed in handcuffs by officers. Plaintiff was brought to the 122nd Precinct where she was held until being released that afternoon without being charged with a crime.
