Complaint
Description: On December 12, 2014 at approximately 2:46 a.m. Plaintiff was arrested by PO Roland Benson for allegedly driving with a suspended driver's license. In fact, the Department of Motor Vehicles failed to update their system and notify Plaintiff he had an outstanding surcharge. Plaintiff was unlawfully removed from his car, arrested, handcuffed, and transported to the 50th Precinct where he was maliciously charged with traffic violations. All charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on May 21, 2015. Plaintiff suffered severe, serious, and personal injuries as a result of this incident.
