Description: On January 7, 2021, at approximately 8:00 PM, the defendants, NYPD Police Officers Robert Uribe, John Pan and Joan/Jane Doe #s 1-10 (identities unknown) targeted the plaintiffs, Gladys Jackson and Craig Smith, because of their race, religion, national origin or other improper characteristic. The Defendants unlawfully stopped, questioned and searched the plaintiffs, The incident occurred in the vicinity of of the intersection of Lenox Avenue and 110th Street, New York County, New York. At the time, the Plaintiffs were lawfully riding electric bikes when the defendants, with no legal basis, approached and searched the Plaintiffs.
