Description: On March 30, 2011, Plaintiffs, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, stopped on the street in front of an apartment building to rest a few minutes from carrying heavy grocery bags. Plaintiffs did not live there and did not enter the building. While they were resting, officers who were executing a search warrant in that apartment came downstairs and arrested Plaintiffs for no reason. One of the officers violently pushed the female plaintiff, who was pregnant at that time, because she was not moving fast enough. They were taken to the precinct and placed in a cell. Officer Jeffrey Michaels, with the acquiescence and approval of other officers, falsely alleged in police reports that Plaintiffs lived in that apartment ...
