Description: On November 18, 2015, plaintiff was inside a bodega at the time a gun was discovered. Defendant-NYPD officers, including Brian Feely and Melvin Cordero, unlawfully stopped, searched, and arrested plaintiff for possession of the discovered gun. Present NYPD officers failed to intervene. Plaintiff was incarcerated from November 18, 2015 until December 3, 2015, and then again from January 7, 2016 until July 2016. Plaintiff pled guilty to the gun possession charge after defendant-officers falsely recounted their observation and the trial court failed to suppress evidence due to lack of probable cause.
