Complaint
Description: On May 31, 2022, plaintiff was arrested and held in custody by police officers due to a domestic dispute. When plaintiff was held at the precinct, the officers handcuffed him inside the cell and forcibly grabbing and squeezing his arms causing him to yell out in pain. The officers threatened plaintiff that “You ant gonna like this!” and shackled his feet, arm, and waist to a bench inside the cell. One officer grabbed plaintiff’s hair and beginning pulling his hair while other officers stood by and failed to intervene. One of the officers punched the plaintiff’s head and ear. Plaintiff was left yelling and screaming in his cell: “I need an ambulance, I can’t hear!” About 40 minutes later, an ambulate came and to...
