Description: On October 19, 2013, at approximately 8:30 PM, Plaintiff Mayline Esposito was improperly stopped and searched by defendant officers in front of 255 Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island. The officers in question were Gerard Delprete, John Ryan, Michelle Ortiz, Megan Carroll, Arthur Truscelli, Nicholas Velez, John Brooks, and David Luppino. Officer Delprete approached Plaintiff Esposito and handcuffed her left wrist. Officer Ryan then unfastened Plaintiff's pants and reached inside, touching her genitals and thigh areas. Description: On March 7, 2013, at about 6:30pm, plaintiff's intestate Mizell was lawfully in the vicinity of 456 Richmond Terrace, Richmond County, NY, a New York City Housing Authority building. Mizell was, without just cause, wrongfully assaulted by the defendant officers. Mizell's assault took place while he was being falsely arrested for a violation of an order of protection, which has been disposed of. Despite Mizell not having committed any crimes, nor any probable cause, individual defendants stopped and arrested him.
