Complaint
Description: On August 6, 2023, Jacob Amoroso (Badge #22500), and two John Doe officers approached Plaintiff Kasheem Adams, and with no probable cause, searched, handcuffed, and detained him with excessive force. Adams continues to suffer from the injuries caused by the officers' use of excessive force. Adams was incarcerated for over 24 hours. Defendants initiated criminal proceedings against Adams, but all charges against Adams were terminated in his favor. This stop was a likely product of the city's "Stop and Frisk" policy.
