Description: On October 12, 2020, around 9:00 PM, Plaintiff Karina Guerrido, was near East 137th Street and Brook Avenue when Defendant Officers Luis Ortiz, Edward Bogucki, John Doe, and John Roe summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, handcuffed, assaulted, battered, and detained her using excessive force. Plaintiff was taken to an unidentified precinct and to the Bronx Criminal Courthouse. While in Defendant Officers' custody, Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search and assault of her head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours prior to release, and was then required to make numerous court appearances before the charges were terminated. .
