Description: On June 4, 2020, Plaintiff, a young black man, was video-recording a protest event when Defendant Officers, including Hassan and various John and Jane Does, aggressively approached Plaintiff with outstretched arms holding weapons. Defendants violently struck Plaintiff with a baton, asp, nightstick, or other kinetic/impact weapon numerous times about Plaintiff’s entire body, despite Plaintiff posing no immediate threat. Defendants, including Hassan, then engaged in a conspiracy to personally confer with each other, regarding non-existent evidence and observations, as well as the manner and means by which said fabrications would be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
