Description: On October 4, 2012 at approximately 4:00am, Plaintiff was lawfully present on a street when he was suddenly accosted by Officer Joseph Esposito, Officer Melissa Karpathakis and Officer Edward Milmore. Plaintiff was handcuffed and arrested for fraudulent accosting and unlawful possession of marijuana, despite the lack of reasonable grounds or probable cause. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct, subjected to a strip-search, and then taken to central booking where he was processed. Officers Esposito, Karpathakis and Milmore initiated criminal proceedings against Plaintiff where they falsified evidence and withheld exculpatory evidence.
