Description: On October 29, 2019, Plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped without cause. Plaintiff was then ordered to exit the vehicle. Plaintiff was handcuffed and arrested without cause and transported to the precinct. During booking, Plaintiff was shoved to the ground and punched in the face by officers. After receiving medical attention, Plaintiff was falsely charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon. All charges against Plaintiff were subsequently dismissed.

Description: On June 18, 2015, the Plaintiff and his brother were waiting outside of their friend’s apartment. Officers Nadien Nazario and Dilma Marte approached the brothers and told them not to stand in front of the building. The brothers began to walk away. Officers Francis Conejo and Brian Forshey pulled up to the scene in a squad car and asked the other officers what was going on. Officer Conejo got out of the car and yelled at the Plaintiff’s brother, “Are you having a good day?” His brother responded that he was “except for you guys bothering me.” Officer Conejo then returned to the car.
