Description: On July 11, 2015, Plaintiffs were walking on a sidewalk on their way home when an ununiformed officer, Salvator Aquino, bumped into Plaintiff Stephanie Dorceant. She asked if he was okay and he responded “mind your own business you fucking dyke.” She asked him not to speak to him that way and he attacked her. Aquino punched her in the face repeatedly, ripped her shirt, and choked her. Plaintiff Nandi Allman witnessed the interaction and tried, unsuccessfully, to stop the officer.
