Description: On November 21, 2020, at the 60th NYPD precinct, Paul Faerstein (Plaintiff) was unlawfully placed under arrest by Police Officer Shannon K. Fahy and Sargent John P. Christie (Defendants), and plaintiff was charged with violating New York City Administrative Code 26-521 (Unlawful Eviction). Plaintiff was then imprisoned in the same precinct for five hours and issued a Desk Appearance Ticket to appear in Criminal Court

Complaint
Description: On May 4, 2018, Plaintiffs George Rentas and Angel Acevedo were falsely arrested by ten unidentified NYPD officers while on the Coney Island Boardwalk between West 15th Street and Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. The complaint does not state the specific circumstances that led to the arrest and only states that the Plaintiffs were arrested "without reasonable suspicion or probable cause to believe that Plaintiffs committed a crime." The Plaintiffs were held for three days before being released when the DA's office refused to prosecute.
