Description: On February 7, 2012, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Plaintiff Chevannes was suddenly accosted by Defendant Officers without any reasonable suspicion or belief that Plaintiff was participating in any unlawful activity. Unprovoked, Plaintiff Chevannes was thrown to the ground and was kicked in the face and back. Nonetheless, Plaintiff was placed under arrest on narcotics charges and for resisting arrest, despite defendant Officers' knowledge that they lacked probable cause. Furthermore, Plaintiff was subject to an unlawful strip search at the 47th Precinct while other defendant Officers unlawfully searched Plaintiff's apartment. Defendant Officers falsely claimed to have recovered drugs from Plaintiff's apartment. ...
