Description: On June 6, 2022, plaintiff Peter Medina was standing on the sidewalk with his girlfriend next to his stationary scooter, in violation of no law. Defendant officers Austin Fortunato, and other unidentified police officers grabbed plaintiff and violently threw him to the ground, at which moment he was struck in the head by one of the police officers. As a result of the attack, plaintiff lost consciousness. He was placed unreasonably tight metal handcuffs and was placed in the police vehicle before being transported to the precinct. Plaintiff was refused medical attention in spite of his request and needs, and police officers provided the Attorney's Office with the false information that the plaintiff was engaged ...
